A long-awaited solution to downtown Mobile’s parking shortage is now complete. The new parking deck, a six-story structure located on the Civic Center campus, adds 1,026 much-needed parking spaces for eventgoers, downtown businesses and employees of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Built using durable cast-in-place concrete methods, the deck was thoughtfully designed to support the growing demands of Mobile’s busy downtown. This major addition marks the end of a decades-long challenge and the beginning of a more accessible future for the heart of the city.
