Earlier this month, Bishop State Community College celebrated the grand opening of its newly renovated Carver Campus in Mobile, Alabama. As the construction manager for the Alabama Community College System, White-Spunner Construction played a key role in overseeing significant infrastructure improvements at both the Carver and Southwest campuses, modernizing nearly 90,000 square feet of educational space.
The revitalized Carver Campus now offers a learning environment designed to support students in a variety of academic and vocational fields. Among its features is a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen, where students can gain hands-on culinary experience in a professional setting. A fully equipped bakery lab and a breakfast room that doubles as a studio kitchen further enhance the learning experience, providing students with real-world training opportunities. In addition to these specialized areas, the campus includes newly renovated classrooms, faculty offices and a media center, ensuring students have access to the latest resources and technology.
White-Spunner Construction is proud to have been part of this transformative project, helping to create an educational space that will serve students and faculty for years to come.
