Each year, ABC selects contractors who demonstrate exceptional safety performance and innovation. The selection process for this award is rigorous, evaluating lost workday case rates, total recordable incident rates, leading indicator use, process and program innovations and in-depth interviews conducted by ABC’s National Health and Safety Committee.

Out of 52 contractors across the nation, White-Spunner Construction is the only general contractor headquartered in Alabama to receive this distinction, a testament to our leadership in safety within the industry. Our proactive approach to safety includes ongoing training, cutting-edge safety equipment and a culture of accountability that empowers every team member to prioritize workplace safety.

This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team, from leadership to field personnel, who continuously uphold the highest safety standards.
