White-Spunner Construction (WSC) is thrilled to announce the recent grand opening of The Home Depot’s 700th store in the Southeast region. Located in Wildwood, Florida, the store occupies a large 20-acre site and boasts an interior space of 108,000 square feet as well as an additional 28,000-square-foot garden center. Construction for the project started in July 2023. The store opened on May 30, 2024, four weeks ahead of schedule and under budget.

This ground-up, tilt-wall store features a new “consumer-friendly layout.” The layout includes a more flexible checkout and customer service area, a large garden center, a tool rental center and new storage areas for customers to pick up their online orders in the store.
