Empowering Future Healthcare Leaders with Cutting-Edge Facilities

White-Spunner Construction completed the Allied Health and Nursing Building for the University of South Alabama to provide an education and medical training facility spanning 186,000 square feet. The 6-story structural concrete frame has a full masonry and pre-cast veneer, contains office areas, a traditional auditorium and various classroom spaces. The facility also includes fully-equipped medical laboratories and examination rooms for all types of medical training such as anatomy, physical therapy, radiology/x-ray, phlebotomy, molecular biology, operation and audiology. Additionally, specialty areas were built for specific training. This includes a life-size nursing simulation lab, a biomedical research lab and a multimedia lab. Students enrolled in biomedical sciences, emergency medical services, and professional health sciences use this building to gain hands-on learning opportunities.
