White-Spunner Construction completed the construction of a new-construction Carmax Auto Superstore in Lafayette, Louisiana. White-Spunner Construction self-performed key aspects of this work, including site preparation and concrete placement through our in-house civil team. We also oversaw utility installation, surcharge and road work. The load-bearing CMU building was constructed using structural steel framing and columns. Our team installed HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, along with landscaping and irrigation. Additionally, we integrated fuel storage tanks, dispensers, automobile lifts, wash bays and maintenance equipment. In the commercial sales floor area, we handled drywall installation, applied graphic finishes, painted both the interior and exterior and provided wall coverings. The project, completed in less than a year from pre-construction to closeout, left the clients highly satisfied with the final result.
