Aldi - schillinger road

The grocery giant Aldi opened its doors on Schillinger Road in Mobile in late-June 2022. This is the first of six Aldi projects that White-Spunner has been contracted to build this year, and is the third store to open in the Mobile/Baldwin County area.

When asked about the work, Senior Project Manager Justin Thorpe said, "Despite the store’s smaller size, there is a tremendous amount of work needed to coordinate the detailed interior and complicated exterior façade.” He continued by noting that the exterior is comprised of five different systems: brick, EIFS, aluminum panels, Nichiha panels and glazing.
