64 North Royal Street

Project Overview

After the flood in downtown Mobile from Hurricane Katrina in 2005, this historic downtown office building went through a significant restoration. Challenges from the flood included mold mitigation and complete interior wall restoration. The building itself has an interesting history. Built in the 1860s, the building housed Mobile’s telegraph office through the early 1900s. Today, the building houses the IBERIABANK banking center building, which is now 6,000 square feet of first-class office space for a growing company.
