Dauphin’s

Project Overview

As Construction Manager, White-Spunner Construction oversaw the build-out for Dauphin’s on the 34th floor of the RSA Trustmark Building. This upscale restaurant, piano bar and lounge offers a spectacular 360-degree view of downtown Mobile and Mobile Bay. Dauphin’s encompasses 7000 square-feet of newly renovated restaurant space that was previously known since the late 1960s as the Bienville Club. The space now has a more modern, sophisticated look and features custom artwork from local artists, a beautiful baby grand piano, a contemporary bar and comfortable lounge area, and the Mobile area’s first and only chef’s table overlooking the city skyline. Dauphin’s is the newest addition to Aloha Hospitality, a family of 13 restaurants owned by Bob Baumhower. The restaurant’s name pays tribute to the Mobile region’s French heritage, as well as Baumhower’s 10-year career in the NFL as a defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins.
