The Tanger Outlet Center in Foley, Alabama, is a premier 525,000-square-foot retail destination featuring over 120 brand-name and designer outlet stores. Since its initial construction, we have maintained a strong partnership with the owner, undertaking several renovations and expansions to enhance the center’s appeal and functionality.

Notably, we completed a comprehensive $25 million expansion and renovation project. This development included an expanded food court, which opened in May 2007, and the East Phase expansion, adding ten new tenant spaces by early September 2007. Additionally, we relocated several existing tenants from older pod buildings, which were subsequently demolished to create more open courtyard space. This area was transformed into interactive customer amenities, including a new outdoor market area with a cart/kiosk program. Further enhancements comprised an updated color scheme reflecting the center’s seaside location, new landscaping, reconfigured drive lanes, rebuilt breezeway canopies, and covered walkways leading from the north and south parking lots, as well as additional parking spaces.
