Hank Aaron Stadium

Project Overview

With a construction deadline of only seven months, a completion date that could not be changed and $4 million over budget at bid, this was the project status when the City of Mobile asked White-Spunner Construction for help. The score was 9-9 at the bottom of the seventh inning, White-Spunner was at bat. They had to get the win. Immediately, the company spent time up front for value engineering and redesigning what might be considered the highest profile project in the history of Mobile. White-Spunner Construction completed the 6,000-seat pre-stressed concrete baseball stadium on the original opening date and WSC went home with a victory.
